  Brief history

 

Founded in 1963, Pacific Limited has grown from a small company into one of the largest LCD and semiconductors manufacturers. Due to very high quality of our products we have gained a reputation of a reliable company and have achieved many honors in computer product evaluations all over the world. We have a strong presence in all key markets across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, serving the needs of large corporations, small and medium enterprises and private users. In 1996 we concentrated on two branches: LCD and semiconductors. Since then we have succeeded in high-end products development such as LCD panels, TVs, PC and Notebook monitors.

 

Our first plant was opened in Hong-Kong where our central office is. In 1998 we opened second plant in Malaysia. It became one of the largent plants in the region. It concentrated on LCD production. Since 1999 we have established our representations in United States, Germany, Japan, Singapore, China and in some other countries.

 

  LCD Business

 

Our LCD Business exceeded its targets in 2003 and marked another record year in sales with strong demand for Notebook PCs, LCD monitors and LCD TVs. The splendid performance is attributed to timely investments in process technologies, business structure enhancement and the resulting competitive edge.

 

We expect the LCD Business to continue to advance by giant leaps through 2004 and beyond. We are going to expand the market power of four key products: high value added Notebook PCs, large scale monitors (greater than 17 inches), LCD-TVs (greater than 26 inches), and mobile devices by expanding their application areas. We will also improve cost competitiveness by drastically reducing the number of required parts, reducing raw material costs and reducing defects.
